5 Wedding Day Cake and Dessert Alternatives

Cake is AMAZING, don’t get me wrong, but sometimes it’s fun to go outside the box and do something that’s more you or different! Or maybe you just plain don’t like cake?! I’ve been to some weddings for couples who ditched the cake and had some alternative cake and dessert ideas for their wedding day. At my own wedding we did have cake, but it was in November so we also had a hot chocolate bar. It was so fun to make. I filled jars with crushed mints, marshmallows, chocolate chips, and tons of other things!

HERE ARE 5 ALTERNATIVE WEDDING CAKE IDEAS:

#1. Go Nuts for DONUTS, am I right?
Who doesn’t love donuts but also can we talk about the adorable, aesthetic of donut walls?

#2. Personal Pies! Cherry, apple, pumpkin, cheesecake, all. of. it.

#3. Cookies.
You could even have a baking day get together with your family or your bridesmaids and make tons of cookies together for your wedding day!

#4. Ice Cream.
Setting up an ice cream bar that allows guests to add which toppings they’d like to make their own.

#5. Smore’s!
This California wedding was totally complete with the open doors, trees and smore’s. (Also, burnt marshmallows are the best marshmallows.)
