I’m Alex McCrary.
A mama, wife, Office obsessed, avocado + caffeine powered photographer.
Having been a shy, insecure person myself I know getting in front of a camera can feel awkward and even uncomfortable at times. I went on a mission as a teen, with my Ipod touch (ew, cringe), to learn all I could about capturing authentic photos while helping people remain comfortable and build confidence.
I met my husband, Daniel, at 14, the age where you think you’re super mature but low-key don’t know how to run the washing machine, which sparked my desire to capture couples and all things love.
Don’t worry, I have also since, upgraded my equipment (PTL).
We didn’t have important days like our own wedding photographed, which is why I’m here to help you learn from my own experience. Details matter and special moments don’t come back if they aren’t captured.
To those who aren’t afraid to show how much they love each other and don’t have a problem getting cozy with a side of adventure, you’re are my type of people.
If you’re just as content sipping a cup of iced coffee (because coffee is good but iced coffee is better) as you are hiking in the woods, we’ll get along just fine.
And If you could dress up when you feel like it, but spend most of your time in sweaters or leggings, well we might as well just be best friends.
Getting photos taken isn’t just a shoot, it’s an experience. Let’s hang out and get cozy, ‘cause why should it be any other way?
some of my favorites
