I was so excited I got to capture Lauren and Brady’s sunset engagement session in Cedar Falls, Iowa. We walked along a peaceful trail to a secluded area. We patiently waited for the sun to set, knowing it would create the perfect golden glow for their photos. The anticipation built as we watched the sky begin changing colors.

Midwest Sunsets

People often underrate Midwest sunsets. The sky paints itself in stunning shades of orange and pink, providing the most gorgeous colors for a session. As the sun dipped below the horizon, I snapped photos of the couple, capturing the genuine connection and love they share. The gentle breeze and the soft rustling of leaves added to the ambiance, making the experience even more magical.

Engagement sessions are always a joy to photograph. In addition the golden hour glow added a romantic touch to each shot. It highlighted Lauren and Brady’s love for each other and creating a series of intimate and authentic images. Their laughter and smiles were contagious, reflecting the happiness they found in each other’s presence.

I’m incredibly grateful to have been able to document this beautiful evening and capture the love between Lauren and Brady.
