When Paige and Mason reached out about their wedding, I just knew we were going to click. These two Iowa natives (who now call Kansas City home) and their session was literally everything I love about what I do. This cozy engagement session with Paige and Mason who traveled in from Kansas City was everything.
Paige and Mason are a perfect combo of adventurous and homebody (honestly, same). Mason’s the extrovert who brings out Paige’s playful side, and together they’re just pure joy to photograph. They met through mutual friends (don’t you love when friends just know two people would be perfect together?), and watching them together.
For their session, we explored George Wyth State Park on this perfectly moody fall day. The golden prairie grass was giving all the cozy vibes, and these two were absolute naturals in front of the camera. These two lit up around each other. Between the impromptu piggyback rides and the laughs, every moment was so fun. And when they told me their ideal date is just grabbing breakfast and coffee together? Goals.
They’re heading back to their Iowa roots to tie the knot at Timbers Edge in Steamboat Rock and I just know their wedding day is going to be filled with the same genuine joy and laughter we captured during their engagement session.
Quick shoutout to these two for being the kind of couple that reminds me why I love what I do – capturing real moments between people who are just genuinely happy being themselves together.
