That means they're being normal kids! (I have 3 of my own, i get it!). I don't need anyone to sit still or smile on command. I just need you to be together and I'll handle the rest. Some of my favorite images come from the most chaotic sessions.
what if my kids don't cooperate?
I'll give you prompts and reasons to move, laugh, and actually interact and then I get out of the way. The goal is for you to forget I'm there, not perform for me!
will you pose us?
Coordinate without matching. Layers and textures over logos and patterns. Wear what you actually feel good in because comfort shows up in photos more than any outfit ever will. You'll get my full style guide after booking.

how long until we get our photos?
I'll reach out the morning of your session and we'll figure it out together, reschedule, go to the studio, or sometimes embrace it. Some of the best sessions happen in unexpected conditions.
what if the weather is bad?
Yes! I'm based in Waverly, Iowa and serve all of northeast Iowa without travel fees. Further out just ask, I may even be in your area in my travel schedule.
