YOU JUST GOT ENGAGED!
CONGRATULATIONS!!
But…Now what?

1. Celebrate!
Take time to celebrate with friends + family. Go have a night out or a fun night in and soak it up!

2. Take a breath.
Wedding planning can be overwhelming.. But it doesn’t NEED to be. Your wedding day is everything you truly want, not what you feel like you need to do. So take a breath and ENJOY the process. It is YOUR process.

3. Pick a date.
Figure out what time of the year you’d like to get married. Do you have a favorite season? Significant date? Favorite Venue or vendor that has an opening?

4. What’s your vibe?
Think about what style you’re going for. What feeling do you want for the overall day? Chill, elegant, simple, whimsical? How many guests do you want? Small, big party, 50/50 with a small ceremony and big after party?

5. What’s your budget?
This can be a tough one, but it’s super important. Figuring out your overall budget can help you decide what is truly important to the both of you on your wedding day. If you’d like to go all out – do it! If you’d like to save a little money, think about the things that you maybe don’t necessarily need or aren’t as important to you (things like, wedding favors, programs, decor, etc.).

6. Venues + Availability.
Think about what overall style you want for your day and find a venue that aligns with your vision. Make sure you schedule tours, check availability and if it fits into your budget.

7. Vendors (aka. photographer ðŸ˜œ)
Maybe you already know exactly who you’d love to be a part of your wedding day. But if you don’t and you want to make sure you check all your options, now is the time to research! Vendors that align with not just your style but also will add the perfect emotions, help and services to make your day perfect. Also be sure to check their availability, set up calls/video chats and ask all the questions!
