Based in Iowa and photographing weddings across the midwest and beyond, my approach is calm, observant, and present. I'm not directing every pose or rushing your timeline. I'm watching for the moments you'll actually want to remember: the look between you two, the way your people react, the quiet seconds in between. As a wife and mom of three (soon to be four), I understand how much a single day can hold, and I care about capturing it honestly, not perfectly.

My role on your wedding day is always the same: stay present, stay observant, and let the day unfold the way it actually does. I'm not interested in over-posing or interrupting your flow. I'm interested in the nervous hands before the ceremony, the dance floor chaos, the in-between moments most people don't even realize were happening until they see the photos. That's what makes a gallery feel like your day, not anyone else's.

You've spent months making decisions. By the time your wedding day arrives, the last thing you should be thinking about is your photographer. That's the goal, to be so present and so in tune with how your day is unfolding that you forget I'm there at all. And when you get your gallery back, it feels exactly like how that day actually felt.
