When my husband, Daniel, and I got married I definitely used Pinterest for ideas. However, in 2014 I don’t think Pinterest was as full of unique and trendy ideas as it is now. Fast forward to now, being at weddings with my couples and talking wedding with my brides, I’ve seen some pretty amazing alternative guest book ideas. Here are some ideas from my past couples!
#1. A TABLE / FURNITURE
Ebony and Trevor used a table for their guest book. Ebony’s brother made the table and they had it out for guests to sign. They have the table sitting in the sun room of their new home and it’s such a gorgeous centerpiece!
#2. DATE IDEAS
If you’re an adventurous couple like Katy and Josh, in lieu of a guest book choose to have their guests leave notes and ideas for adventurous dates.
#3. ASK FOR ADVICE
Rebekka and Austin had their friends and family write out advice for them to read together.
#4. JENGA
Lydia and Tairk had their guests sign and write them notes on big Jenga blocks.
#5. Shake It Like A Polaroid Picture
Charlotte and Ty had their guests take photos and write them notes on polaroids.
#6. PUZZLE PIECES
Cally and Travis had their guests sign puzzle pieces and leave advice.
#7. WALL DECOR
Katie and Wade had guests sign a heart that fit into a wall hanging photo.
#8. CORN HOLE / BAGS
L and T had corn hole / bags for their friends and family to sign at the reception!
